Quotations for work

We are happy to give free written quotes for all sheet metal work. To ensure a fast and accurate quote please include as much of the following information as possible:

• A drawing or sketch showing all component dimensions and tolerances.
• What type of material (both type and thickness)?
• What type of finish (i.e. self-colour, painted, plated etc.)?
• Quantities you wish us to quote for.
• Expected delivery time-scale.
• A contact name and phone number.
• Some form of unique reference name or number for each component.

We also can accept requests for quotations and drawings electronically by email to metal@lemsford.co.uk. Please use DXF format for drawings if possible but we can also read Solid Edge, Autocad DWG, Autodesk Inventor and Radan formats.

To ensure we can read your email please send plain text rather than HTML or Word processor files (.doc/.wpd).

We would normally expect to produce a quote within 5 working days (subject to workload) but this cannot be guaranteed when information is incomplete or we have to obtain outside quotes for any subcontract portions of the work.

Quotes are normally valid for 4 weeks unless otherwise stated.
